Polaris Partners was founded to provide solutions in the fields of human resource development and organizational development to companies struggling to respond to volatile changes in their business environment.
We achieve talent development in companies through a wide range of approaches, including executive coaching, assessment by the 360-degree feedback and psychometric methods, leadership training, and other workshops. By collaborating with top-class experts in these fields, we are able to constantly maintain the highest level of quality.
Polaris Partners was founded by Kazuyoshi Tomeoka (nicknamed “Kazu”), who now serves as managing director of the company. For 20 years from the end of the 1980s Kazu was engaged in human resource management, business management, and business development at Sony Corporation. During this time he worked in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and London, where he nurtured a global perspective and the insight necessary for executing business in a volatile environment. He also acquired expertise relating to the management of multinational employees and human resource development (consulting, coaching skills, facilitation skills, and skills as a practitioner of leadership training and career training). After leaving Sony, he was involved in management as the Japanese partner of a global executive search firm before going on to establish Polaris Partners.
